Bridal Color Inspiration: Romantic Mountain Styled Shoot

Mountains, snow, whiskey, and fire. Add 11 local vendors and you have the perfect styled shoot. We are obsessed with this collaboration and even more obsessed with how beautifully Brittany Miller Photography and Palamora Events were able to capture simple, cozy love.

    Allure Bridal:
A-line tulle gown, lace bodice, with beaded belt.

For this shoot we took a traditional a-line tulle gown and toned it down with a neutral, cozy sweater. Of course, it wouldn’t be New Mexican without a Squash Blossom necklace. (sweater and necklace available at Turquoise Teepee)

We love the color pallet that was chosen for this set up. Slate, peach, fern, reds, and metallics! It couldn’t of come together any better.

When it comes to a wedding, it is okay to think outside the box and use several colors. The pink accent chairs are bold, yet subtle enough to allow the mixture of other colors and textures. Red was the perfect pop of color seen throughout. All brought together beautifully with sheer, slate drapery. You can rent these pieces through Knox Auctions.

Can we talk about floral! As always, Calhoun Flower Farms did it again! A mixture of garden roses, blush stock, carnations, kale (yes, kale) eucalyptus, creosote and statice adorned this shoot. Floral is where you can really get creative with color. Opposed to fabric, flowers are light and add the perfect texture to any setting.

How cute is Susanna? Your local New Mexican flower farmer!

This cute little basket included a bath bomb by Of the Oak and soap from New Mexico Soap. If you know good soap, you’ll love New Mexico Soap.

Of the Oak makes all the goodness for your body. From lip balms, to deodorant, beard oil, bath soaks, to all the things apothecary.

How good do these chocolate covered biscochos look?! Kudos to Amber Alvillar, 5th generation and owner of “Mi Abuelita’s Biscochos.” (You can get your hands on these here)

Other small deets included these super cute greeting cards from Priq Candle Co. All hand-painted, all local. If you love these, you’ll also love her vegan candles! You can purchase here.

Whiskey courtesy of Dry Point Distillers.

We love how metals were used to add the perfect touch to this setup. Mixing metals is always okay as long as they’re combined with softer textures to balance them out. Velvet, wool, and mohair are just a few examples of textures that let metallics contrast and stand out on their own.

You can’t even tell the snow is there from all the cozy feels this gives you.

Beanie was custom made by Rae Handmade.

Makeup was done beautifully by Emily Lynn

Hair was elegantly styled by Brittany Evans.

    What a good looking bunch!

When great people come together, they make magic. Again, thank you or letting us be a part of this wonderful collaboration. We look forward to many more!

    New Mexico Elopement Styled Shoot

In honor of Cinco de Mayo approaching tomorrow, we wanted to share this gorgeous styled photo shoot that embraces the Mexican culture we love so much in Las Cruces. Often times we overlook the beauty of elopements. This styled shoot reminded us that sometimes less is more. We love the unique southwest decor that was incorporated in this styled shoot. Not to mention the adorable donkey featured! Dive into these colorful photos that highlight fun prints and floral in a simplistic way.

We love these pops of color throughout these images. Perfect color scheme for summer! If you’re looking for more color inspiration, check out one of our previous blog posts that gives some insight on color schemes for your wedding season.

Dogs are common in wedding shoots, but how cool is this donkey?! We are obsessed with how cute he is!

Cookies are a great option for desserts if you want to create a clean, detailed look.

Model is wearing one of our favorite Michael Kors styles, available for rental and purchase.

Flower crowns are the new veils. What do you think about this new trend? Comment your thoughts below!

We love the unique elements that was incorporated with decor such as the black fabric included in the arc. Most people would assume to use light colors, but black was the perfect match! By using tulle, there is transparency within the fabric, allowing it to create a light feel.

    Jackie + Derrick – October 15th, 2016

With special events occurring almost every weekend of the year here at Renee’s, sometimes we like to look back on past weddings we’ve done. Jackie and Derrick tied the knot almost two years ago, but their style was timeless. As you will be able to see through these stunning photos, their decor and color palette are still trending today. Dive into these shots to get some October wedding inspiration.

Custom invitations were made by our sister company, Elegant Events & Invitations.

A cognac colored shoe pairs nicely with a variety of tones. We love the navy and blush palette this couple went with as it combined a traditional look with a more modern style.

The ceremony featured a gorgeous view of the Organ Mountains at Red Hawk Golf Club.

    How charming is that silverware?!

Look at this scenery! We may be bias, but New Mexico has some of the best sunsets around! It could not create a more romantic setting for outdoor weddings. The lovely hanging market lights are a trendy way to light up your dance floor.

Jackie & Derrick incorporated special family photos for their guests to view.

    Desert Romance Styled Shoot

If you haven’t noticed already, we embrace our desert living here in Las Cruces, NM. The unique beauty of our dry landscape is not a traditional wedding style, but this styled photoshoot will show you why those rules should be broken. We collaborated with local vendors to captivate the delicate charm of New Mexico.
Any This Is Us fans? Look closely for some details inspired by the heart-throbbing TV show we all adore.

Four photographers located here in Las Cruces put together a photography workshop for this shoot. New photographers were invited to join us and learn the ins and outs of wedding photography from these amazing girls! We love the support our community provides each other and we were honored to be a part of this day.

Dusty tones add a rustic look to your springtime palette.

Don’t shy away from fun floral! We love that this bouquet features all sorts of light flowers and greenery to create a gorgeous assortment that can be easily tied into any decor.

Don’t break the bank with an extravagant cake! This simple dessert is adorned with the natural greenery that is used throughout the entire wedding scene. These types of cakes create a clean yet elegant look.

Oh how we love Jack and Rebecca!

Eucalyptus leaves are a perfect fit for almost any flower arrangement. They have a pastel tone to them that creates a rustic addition to the decor. So easy and so beautiful. Love!

    Amanda + Tim – October 14th, 2017

October in Las Cruces, New Mexico means changing leaves, colder weather, and classic romance. Dive into this beautiful day spent celebrating Amanda and Tim to see the magic that autumn weddings bring.

Amanda is dressed in Allure Bridal, available at Renee’s Bridal Boutique.
We adore the ivory lace over blush look- as it allows for the gorgeous and unique lace to pop.

A classic autumn look: burgundy & navy blue.

What a fun detail these men added to their look. Can’t ever go wrong with funky socks!
Great gift idea for your groomsmen!

Long veils are in style and we are LOVING it! Cathedral-length veils add that last finishing touch to your sheath wedding gown. Our boutique carries a beautiful selection of veils, including this stunning piece pictured.

We love the style and colors this couple decided to go with for the tuxedos. The tweed vest added a natural yet classic touch that paired nicely with the wine colored tie and pocket square.
The groom is dressed in Jim’s Formal Wear, available at Renee’s Bridal Boutique online and in store!

Amanda and Tim decided to go with a traditional church ceremony. The colors inside the chapel matched perfectly with their palette.

Simple centerpieces showcase the perfect balance of elegance and purity.

We love how real flowers and greenery were adorned with the cake. Sometimes the best decor are the most natural and in this case, we believe it!
