New Year, New Brand: Details on the Transition of Renee’s Bridal & Elegant Events

Pop the Champagne, We Are Changing Our Name!

As many of you all know might know, Renee’s Bridal Boutique has been serving Las Cruces and surrounding areas for over 35 years. Although it has been an honor to serve the public for this long under this brand, it is time for change. A GOOD change at that! We wanted everyone to understand all details on the transition of Renee’s Bridal and Elegant Events.

Perhaps you might not know, but Renee no longer owns “Renee’s Bridal.” The store has always been a locally owned and operated company since it’s creation back in 1983 by Renee Axtell; the store then transitioned to her daughter, Camille, some 18 years ago. Roxanne was given the privilege to follow in Camille’s footsteps about 5 years ago, purchasing the store, after being with the store for over 6 years prior to that. We joke around all the time about all the names Roxanne gets called. Anything from: Renee, Kidd, Roxanna, etc. Funny thing is, at this point, she doesn’t bother correcting them-she answers to them all!

Why are we transitioning ?

Before starting her career with Renee’s, Roxanne had another brainchild in the works… Elegant Events and Invitations. Have you heard of her other company?! (click here for the blog on her other concept) Same building, same contact info- different brand.

So where are we going with this?

We want to create a cohesive brand that alleviates any confusion for our future customers, making this a seamless process for all. You need a dress, invitations, alterations, wedding planner, linen rentals, day of coordination/decorating? We’ve got you covered. Still under one roof, but soon will be available under one name:

“Livingston Bridal and Events.”

When are we transitioning?

We are set to start operating under our new brand at the beginning of January, 2020.

What happens to our current clients?

Absolutely nothing. We will be honoring current contracts and ensuring a smooth transition process for it all. If you are a current bride with us, there is nothing you have to do on your end- we back that promise 100%. Details on the transition of Renee’s Bridal are still being finalized, but business will continue per usual.

What happens to our current stock?

We currently have our storewide “Close Out Sale” going on. We are making way for new styles and collections that we’re sure you’re going to love! Our closeout Wedding and Quince gown discounts start at 30% off and up! Now is the best time to shop for a designer gown – Say YES to the Dress for Less!

Thank you Las Cruces and the rest of New Mexico for supporting Renee’s Bridal the way you have for all these decades. We like to embrace change and this transition is no exception. We’re happy, we’re anxious, but we are not saying goodbye- we are saying welcome to Livingston Bridal and Events!

We sincerely look forward to serving Southern New Mexico and beyond for many years to come!
